Established officially in 2022, Mechanized Productions, LLC has been active in the independent film space for nearly a decade. Founded by filmmaker Ethan Clay, our company is driven by a bold vision to redefine the standards of independent filmmaking and distinguish ourselves not just from other indie studios, but from major film studios as well.

Our mission goes beyond producing high-quality content. We are committed to reshaping industry perceptions by championing fairness, professionalism, and community. Too often, independent productions are associated with disorganization, unpaid labor, and an overwhelming workload with little regard for the rights and well-being of cast and crew. We’re here to change that narrative.

At Mechanized Productions, we believe in collaboration over competition. Our team is passionate about building a supportive, respectful, and inclusive creative environment. One where everyone’s contributions are valued, protected, and celebrated.

A cornerstone of our company is the Project 15 Film Fund, an initiative born from our own crowdfunding efforts, dedicated to supporting fellow indie filmmakers in financing their projects. Project 15 reflects our deep commitment to strengthening the indie film community from the ground up by making sure if we've hit our goals and exceed them, we pay it forward to others in our community as well.

Outside of Project 15, our own film sets have consistently earned praise for their professionalism, warmth, and care. We ensure that every cast and crew member is treated with dignity by being properly compensated, well-fed, and kept safe at every stage of production.
